There are many ways that you can receive payment. You can arrange your preferred method of payment with the client at the time of booking.

When are the jobs and auditions?

The jobs and auditions take place according to the clients schedule. These times can vary. Some people who do not work in the day find it convenient to have auditions in the day. People who work in the day find it convenient to have them in the evening and on the weekend. For children, auditions are generally in the evening and on the weekend.

Where are the jobs and auditions?

The jobs and auditions are wherever the client chooses to hold them-usually at a studio or audition facility. A lot of jobs are in the closest major city to you and some on the outskirts. You have the freedom to determine where(area) you would like to work.

Can parents go to the auditions?

Parents, you are most welcome to attend the auditions however we ask that you allow the casting team to do their job and not get in their way.

How much notice do I get before an audition or job?

You will be notified by the client when there is an audition or you have been booked on a job. The time can vary. Sometimes you may get as much as 2 weeks notice, sometimes 1 to 2 days notice.

Do I have to find my own auditions?

You do not have to find your own auditions as our site is equipped and your Casting Americans web site is available to clients 24/7.

How long do auditions take?

Auditions can vary from one client to the next. This depends on what the style of the audition is, if it is a group or individual audition as well as how many people are being auditioned. Auditions can take an average time of 5 to 20 minutes.

Do I have to do my own hair and makeup for the jobs?

Hair and makeup services are usually provided on set. If there is a case where you have to do your own hair and makeup the client will let you know prior to the job.

Do I always have to audition to get jobs?

You do not always have to audition to get jobs. Some of the clients book directly from your Casting Americans personal web site.

How soon after an audition will I know if I got the job?

This all depends on the client and their scheduled shoot dates. If the shoot is fast approaching then you should hear back within a week. We usually hear back within a couple of days. The client will contact you to let you know you have the booking.

Is there a contract?

There is no binding contract. You use our services at your own free will.

Am I able to change my web site?

Yes, you are able to change your website. Once logged in, select Edit My Profile and perform any necessary editing. Remember to save your changes and make yourself active.

What happens if I change my look?

Changing your look is a very important decision. If you change your look, you must update your photos right away to reflect your new look and edit your profile.

What happens if I decide to stop modelling?

If you decide to stop modelling you may send us notification through our Contact Us page. Since we do a lot of marketing on your behalf it is best to let us know as soon as possible. Clients can contact you for auditions and jobs at anytime and you do not want to let them down. If you are not available we want to make sure we give the client enough time to replace you.
